Safeguarding & Child Protection
The safety and wellbeing of every child is our absolute priority. All staff are DBS checked and receive regular safeguarding training. We follow local authority guidelines and report any concerns immediately.

Medication & Illness
Children must be kept home for 48 hours after vomiting or diarrhoea. Prescription medication can be administered by staff with written parental consent only.
Health & Safety
We carry out regular risk assessments of all indoor and outdoor spaces. All staff hold a valid paediatric first aid certificate. Accident and incident reports are completed and shared with parents.
Behaviour Management
We use positive behaviour strategies to support children's emotional development. We do not use physical punishment of any kind. Consistent, kind boundaries help children feel safe and secure.
Data Protection
All personal data is held securely in line with UK GDPR regulations. Information is only shared with relevant professionals when necessary for the child's welfare.
Photography & Social Media
Written parental consent is required before any photographs of children are taken or used. No images are ever shared on public social media without explicit permission.
Complaints Procedure
We take all concerns seriously. Please speak to the nursery manager in the first instance. If unresolved, a written complaint can be made. We aim to resolve all complaints within 28 days.
